The value of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s on-chain crypto assets briefly surpassed $10 million on Monday, driven primarily by his TRUMP holdings.

On May 27, blockchain intelligence firm Arkham reported that presidential candidate Donald Trump’s crypto portfolio surpassed $10 million.

MAGA memecoin TRUMP has fueled the portfolio’s surge into seven figures , with the coin surging to an all-time high of $13.24 on May 27.

According to Arkham, Donald Trump holds 579,290 TRUMP tokens, worth approximately $6.79 million.

Memecoin has surged 53% in the past week after Donald Trump expressed support for the cryptocurrency.

“I am very positive and open to cryptocurrency companies and all things related to this emerging industry, ” he said on May 25.

On May 21, the Trump 2024 campaign launched a fundraising page for people to donate in cryptocurrency.

According to Coingecko, Trump’s price has fallen 8.8% since its peak, dropping to $12.04 at the time of writing.

As cryptocurrency markets fell during early trading on May 28, this caused the entire portfolio to fall back to $9.5 million.

MAGA was launched in August to donate to US veterans and children. Although it is named after the former president, it is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Donald Trump.

According to the official website, since MAGA was launched, 234.75 ETH has been donated to US veterans and 204.5 ETH has been donated to prevent child trafficking.

As of this writing, Donald Trump also has an Ethereum wallet with 464.2 ETH, worth approximately $1.79 million.

He also holds 1 million MVP tokens, worth about $473,000. MVP is another meme coin that provides rewards and support donations to the Trump campaign. It hit an all-time high of $0.709 on May 17, but has since fallen back 33% and is trading at $0.477 as of this writing.
