Colorado to accept Bitcoin tax payments this summer

On February 16, Colorado Governor Jared Schutz Polis just announced that Colorado will accept Bitcoin for tax payments starting this summer. In an interview with CNBC, Polis revealed that Colorado plans to further try more innovative payment models and is expected to launch a state token. Polis has been a long-term supporter of cryptocurrency, and as a member of Congress, he is the first politician in the United States to accept Bitcoin donations. |
