Tencent has taken action against accounts that violated regulations by publishing virtual currency information

On October 14, Tencent issued a "Special Rectification Notice on Illegal Collection, Editing and Publishing of Financial Information", stating that illegal financial activities such as virtual currency transactions have disrupted the economic and financial order, and are likely to breed illegal and criminal activities such as gambling, illegal fundraising, and money laundering, seriously endangering the property safety of the majority of netizens.

Recently, many national departments have been rectifying illegal financial activities such as virtual currency transactions in accordance with the law. Tencent has strictly implemented relevant regulatory requirements and resolutely cooperated in cracking down on virtual currency and other related businesses. Through user complaints and platform security inspections, a number of bad accounts that violated regulations by publishing virtual currency information, advocating virtual currency "mining" activities, and distorting the interpretation of national policies have been discovered and dealt with.
