On September 6, the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration issued a document titled "Notice on Removing the "Block Eye" APP from the Shelves". The document shows that recently, our bureau received a letter from the Shanghai Financial Stability Coordination Joint Conference Office and the Office of the Internet Finance Regulation Leading Group of the Shanghai Headquarters of the People's Bank of China requesting the disposal of platforms suspected of virtual currency publicity and speculation, pointing out that the "Block Eye" APP provides information intermediary services for virtual currency transactions, directs traffic to virtual currency exchanges, and conducts commercial displays and marketing publicity for virtual currency-related business activities, which violates the relevant requirements of the "Announcement on Preventing the Risks of Virtual Currency Transaction Speculation" and the "Announcement on Preventing the Risks of Token Issuance and Financing". Please remove it from the shelves.
