Pavilions, a world-renowned hotel chain, announces it will accept Bitcoin payments

Scot Toon, general manager of the world-renowned hotel chain Pavilions HOTELS & RESORTS, announced today that Pavilions will begin accepting Bitcoin payments starting tomorrow.

They have partnered with UK-based Coindirect to allow guests to pay with BTC when booking accommodation in Europe and Asia, and customers can also choose to use Bitcoin to purchase properties in Phuket, Thailand. In addition, speaking about Bitcoin volatility, Toon said Pavilions will hold or sell the Bitcoin they receive as payment, depending on what they see fit at the time.
