Source: Affected by the market, Bitmain may reduce its 5nm orders by about 20,000 pieces in the fourth quarter

According to BlockBeats, on June 28, sources said that due to the overall operation of Bitcoin, Bitmain recently revised its wafer production at TSMC, and will reduce its 5nm orders by about 20,000 wafers in the fourth quarter. It is estimated that this may cause TSMC's fourth-quarter revenue to decrease by about US$300 million. It is understood that Bitmain was once one of TSMC's top five customers. Although its sales have not been as good as before in recent years, it is still one of TSMC's top ten users.
