Nayib Bukele released a video through the Miami Bitcoin Conference, claiming that he would submit a bill to make Bitcoin a legal tender in the country.

Both countries have a human development index of around 0.7. Their national economies are mainly based on agriculture, supplemented by light industry. Their economies are generally highly dependent on foreign countries and are based on relatively uncompetitive agricultural products and handicrafts.
