The first blockchain pig supervision platform is expected to be launched in May

According to Chongqing Daily, on April 19, the "Twin Cities Chain" Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Blockchain Technology Application and Industry Development Forum was held in Rongchang District. At the meeting, it was learned that Chongqing Rongchang District is exploring the "blockchain + agriculture" application pilot. In order to ensure that the people can eat safe pork, it is building the country's first blockchain pig supervision electronic signature platform demonstration area to empower the pig industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.

my country's pig industry has set up multiple quarantine checkpoints from the birth, breeding, slaughter to the listing of pigs. However, since pig quarantine needs to be carried out on site, the relevant departments cannot let every law enforcement officer carry an official seal to issue quarantine certificates for many pig farmers and enterprises.

The common practice in various places is to issue quarantine certificates in advance and stamp them with official seals to the law enforcement officers. The law enforcement officers will quarantine the pigs on site and issue certificates to those who are qualified. This process is difficult to avoid "favor stamps" and "favor certificates".

In response to this situation, Rongchang District decided to build a blockchain pig supervision electronic signature platform and create the country's first blockchain pig supervision electronic signature platform demonstration area. The platform will assign an account to each law enforcement officer and authorize them to use electronic seals. After the law enforcement officers quarantine the pigs on site, they will issue quarantine certificates and electronically sign them through their mobile phones. Then, the relevant person in charge of the unit will verify it online.

This process can make the whole process open and transparent, and supervisors can use QR codes to query and trace the signatures and other behaviors of relevant personnel. Currently, the platform has been initially built and is expected to be put into operation as early as May.

It is working hard to build the country's first blockchain pig supervision electronic signature platform demonstration zone. It will vigorously promote application scenarios such as blockchain + government affairs, blockchain + industry, and blockchain + city, and focus on deep integration in reconstructing the industrial chain, upgrading the value chain, and extending the service chain, so as to promote the high-quality development of the blockchain industry in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.
