IPFS at ETH Denver

The IPFS community came out in full force for ETHDenver 2021: from talks to bounties, help desks and virtual hangs, and our favorite new projects! We’re excited to show you awesome features built with IPFS, so we’ll be covering them in upcoming issues.

Introducing Super Rinkeby

The first feature of ETHDenver is Super Rinkeby, a decentralized game similar to Super Mario that allows users to change characters by purchasing NFTs. The game, co-created by Leon Do and Jennifer Tran, is hosted on IPFS and its structure proposes five new ideas for scaling microtransactions on the blockchain.

What's New in IPFS Desktop

Your favorite IPFS desktop application recently added support for go-ipfs 0.8.0 and Electron 11.x, with pubsub enabled via settings and IPNS enabled via pubsub.
