Ethereum stablecoin issuance exceeds $25 billion, setting a new record

According to DeBank data, the total issuance of Ethereum stablecoins has exceeded US$25 billion, setting a new historical high, at US$25.19 billion at the time of writing.

Ethereum stablecoins are fiat currencies used in the Ethereum blockchain network. They are usually pegged to fiat currencies, audited by third parties, and backed by real US dollars or a complex algorithm to guarantee their prices. According to the circulation, the top three Ethereum stablecoins are: 1. USDT: 15,119,922,415 US dollars, accounting for 60.25% of the circulation; 2. USDC: 5,436,997,485 US dollars, accounting for 21.59% of the circulation; 3. DAI: 1,556,959,405 US dollars, accounting for 6.18% of the circulation.
