CCB's digital RMB wallet now supports binding bank cards of 8 banks including China Merchants Bank

According to the 21st Century Business Herald, the digital RMB APP (Panda) issued by China Construction Bank, in addition to supporting China Construction Bank cards, also supports binding bank cards of 8 banks including China Merchants Bank.
Public data shows that the banks that currently have strategic cooperation with the Central Bank Digital Currency Research Institute are mainly the six state-owned banks, namely Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Postal Savings Bank of China, and Bank of Communications. The six major banks all have their own digital RMB wallet APPs, such as the Agricultural Bank of China's digital RMB wallet APP called "ABC-ANDROID" and the Construction Bank's digital RMB wallet APP called "Panda".
The steps for users who have won the Shenzhen digital RMB red envelope to use digital RMB are as follows: 1. First open a digital RMB wallet with a designated operating bank. Currently, the operating banks are mainly the six major banks (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of China, Postal Savings Bank of China, and Communications Bank of China). 2. After opening, if you want to exchange digital RMB, you need to bind a Class A bank card.
According to the users who won the lottery, CCB’s digital RMB wallet supports binding with 8 banks; but ABC’s digital RMB wallet supports binding with 6 banks (excluding CMB and CITIC).
