The UK Treasury is seeking opinions on issues related to "cryptocurrencies and stablecoins"

According to BlockBeats, the UK Treasury is publishing a public consultation document on the regulatory approach for crypto assets and stablecoins. The consultation includes opinions on how the UK regulatory framework can mitigate consumer and stability risks while leveraging new technologies and supporting innovation and competition, as well as a call for evidence and supporting documents on crypto asset investment, wholesale use, and widespread use of distributed ledger technology in the financial sector.

It is understood that the deadline for this consultation is March 21 this year.
