EIP-1559 has been implemented and launched on the Filecoin mainnet

On January 5, Juan, the founder of Filecoin, published an article titled "EIP-1559 in Filecoin". Juan said that FEIP-1559 has many convincing features, such as high efficiency, good user experience, higher reliability and throughput, and a network that rewards transactions. For these reasons, Filecoin has incorporated EIP-1559 into its core protocol and made minor adjustments. Currently, EIP-1559 has been implemented and launched on the Filecoin mainnet, with about 100,000 to 150,000 FIL consumed by network transactions every day. So far, the basic fee mechanism of EIP-1559 has done a good job in keeping the network capacity at 100%. |
