According to BlockBeats, on December 21, Riot Blockchain, Inc. (NASDAQ: RIOT), a US-listed mining company, announced that it would purchase and deploy another 15,000 S19 series mining machines from Bitmain, at a cost of approximately $35 million. These new mining machines are scheduled to arrive and be deployed in May 2021 and will continue until October 2021. After the arrival of the new mining machines, combined with the existing computing power, it is expected to significantly increase Riot's share of Bitcoin mining computing power.
