World premiere: Innosilicon and Imagination reach strategic partnership on high-performance data center GPUs

London, UK, October 13, 2020 - Imagination Technologies announces a partnership with Innosilicon, a leading one-stop provider of high-speed hybrid circuit IP and chip customization in China . Using cutting-edge SOC innovations such as multi-chiplets and GDDR6 high-speed video memory, Innosilicon will be the first to launch Imagination's new top-of-the-line BXT multi-core architecture and high-performance GPU discrete graphics chips for desktops and data centers. At the same time, the two parties are also furthering their long-term strategic cooperation, aiming to continuously bring more and more powerful high-performance GPU graphics chips to the market.

Compared with existing desktop GPUs, the computing density is up to 70% higher. The new multi-core technology is adopted. The top-end BXT multi-core architecture launched this time can configure and layout each core in SoC and multi-die packaging more flexibly. The versatility of this series of GPUs means that a variety of platforms can be built based on them, which can be extended from mobile devices to desktops to cloud solutions.
