Bitmain and Foundry, a wholly-owned mining subsidiary of crypto giant DCG, have reached a cooperation

According to BlockBeats, on September 10, Bitmain’s official website announced that it had reached a cooperation with Foundry, one of the largest Bitcoin mining companies in North America, which provided the necessary funds for many of its major customers to purchase mining equipment. Foundry is a wholly-owned mining subsidiary of the crypto industry giant Digital Currency Group. The financing channels provided by Foundry can not only break down the barriers for companies to enter the mining industry, but also help the industry grow and strengthen the entire mining ecosystem.

Founded in 2019, Foundry said that “through our partnership with Bitmain, we are proud to have helped many mining companies in North America procure the mining equipment they need to grow (their business).”

Su Ke, global sales and marketing director of Bitmain Antminer, said: "Through Foundry's work and financial support to end customers, we have shipped a large number of machines to North America this year. Foundry's institutional-grade services to North American enterprises and the expertise of its team have played a key role in achieving this goal. We look forward to working closely with Foundry to reach more customers and provide them with a better experience."

BlockBeats reported on August 27 that Digital Currency Group (DCG) announced the establishment of a wholly-owned subsidiary, Foundry, which will provide institutional-level expertise, capital and market intelligence to digital asset miners and manufacturers, providing them with the resources to build, maintain and protect decentralized networks. DCG has pledged to invest $100 million in its subsidiary Foundry by 2021.
