According to IRNA, Mostafa Rajabi Mashhadi, vice president of Iran's Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission Company (Tavanir), confirmed that power plants in Iran are allowed to mine cryptocurrencies. Mashhadi explained that entities must apply for the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and comply with the tariff regulations for crypto mining: "Power plants must submit their requests and follow the approved tariffs for cryptocurrency mining centers." |
