Bloomberg is promoting Bitcoin-related content via paid Facebook ads

Mainstream media outlet Bloomberg is promoting Bitcoin and cryptocurrency-related content through paid Facebook ads.

Bloomberg is promoting articles about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in an effort to attract clicks from Facebook users interested in the topic, according to paid ads seen on Facebook today.

It’s unclear how long the Bloomberg ad has been running, but the most recent ad is promoting an article published on May 17, shortly before the third block reward halving in Bitcoin’s history.

The article comments on Bitcoin’s halving event and how billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones and other cryptocurrency supporters are buying more Bitcoin to hedge against potential inflation caused by central bank money injections.

The headline of the paid ad mentioned that Bitcoin, which was "supposed to shine" during the crisis, failed to live up to the expectations of its supporters. Bloomberg wrote, "A crisis was supposed to be Bitcoin's moment to shine. It wasn't."

The ad, titled “The Latest Crypto Strategy,” also reads, “Should I Invest in Bitcoin?”

In general, Bloomberg has not made any negative comments about Bitcoin in its paid advertisements, which in a sense shows that the mainstream media recognizes Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, which is also beneficial to the crypto industry.

Since the beginning of this year, Bloomberg seems to have paid special attention to Bitcoin. In its market reports in May and June, Bloomberg compared Bitcoin to digital gold, believing that Bitcoin will prove itself this year and may break through $20,000 to set a new historical high.
