Iran calls for making mining a national strategy

According to BlockBeats, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told officials from the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), the energy sector, and the ICT sector that they needed to develop a new national strategy for cryptocurrencies, including the regulation of mining and mining revenues, while presiding over a national economic strategy seminar at Iran's Economic Coordination Headquarters. Iran was one of the first countries to officially recognize cryptocurrency mining as a legal industry in July 2019. The government issues mining licenses, giving companies the right to mine and then sell any digital assets produced.
