Nervos sets up a $30 million fund to support developers in building public chain infrastructure

According to CoinDesk, the well-known public chain project Nervos Network announced the establishment of a $30 million public fund to fund external developers to build on its blockchain infrastructure.
Nervos researcher Kevin Wang said that Nervos Network will fund developers in the form of cash and will make all developer-submitted projects public to get more community feedback. Nervos Network said that it will initially provide funding for infrastructure development projects such as client protocols, development environments, cross-chain interoperability, smart contract languages, and tools.
BlockBeats learned that according to CKB Explorer’s data today, the total amount of CKB contained in Nervos DAO has reached 2,002,210,432.91, a record high; the number of addresses has reached 1,102. The number of CKB destroyed in the secondary issuance accounts for 81.6% of the total issuance, mining rewards account for 14.8%, and locked coin subsidies account for 3.6%.
