According to Binance's official announcement, Binance will stop trading and delist BCHSV at 18:00 on April 22, 2019. After the trading is stopped, all pending orders will be automatically cancelled. Users can withdraw cash before 18:00 on July 22, 2019, after which the system will close the withdrawal function.

Influenced by this news, BCH continued to rise rapidly, with an increase of more than 9% in half an hour; BSV fell nearly 10% in half an hour, falling to a low of US$60.1, and a 24-hour drop of 10.18%.

Shortly thereafter, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao retweeted the news announcement of "Binance delisting BSV" on Twitter and commented "Do the right thing".

Since the BCH hard fork, BSV community representative Craig Wright has often emphasized on various occasions that he is the founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. This argument has been refuted by the crypto community. Opponents call him a "liar" and a "fake Satoshi". Lightning Torch founder Hodlonaut also opposes Craig Wright's claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto, saying that Craig Wright's deception has become a community consensus, and he even made fun of him for creating a Twitter topic like CSWFraud (Craig Wright liar).

Angry and humiliated, Wright threatened to sue Hodlonaut and offered a reward of $5,000 in BSV to reveal Hodlonaut's personal information. Wright's lawyer even prepared an apology letter template, asking Hodlonaut to apologize to Wright.

This move successfully angered the Bitcoin community. The Bitcoin community fully supported Hodlonaut and launched topics such as "WeAreAllHodlonaut", "Boycott Craig Wright", and "Delist BSV" on Twitter, while changing their Twitter profile pictures to Hodlonaut's. Binance founder Zhao Changpeng also participated in the topic.

On April 12, Zhao Changpeng released a tweet to make his position clear, strongly declaring that "Australian Satoshi is not Satoshi Nakamoto" and saying "We are going to delist [BSV]!" Today, three days later, Zhao Changpeng put his previous words into practice and delisted BSV from Binance.

Binance's announcement to delist BSV has been supported by many well-known figures in the crypto community, including Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson and Forbes crypto analyst Joseph Young.
