Bitmain releases self-developed 7nm chip with energy efficiency as low as 42J/T

On September 21, Bitmain CEO Jihan Wu officially released the 7nm self-developed mining chip at the Global Digital Currency Ecosystem Industry Chain Summit and Mining Exchange Summit, with an energy efficiency ratio as low as 42J/T. Wu Jihan also revealed that the chip will soon be put into mass production and will be used in the next generation of Antminer products. It is reported that a single 7nm chip integrates up to 1 billion transistors. |
