Russian blockchain company suggests government cuts taxes on mining industry

According to RBC news, CryptoUnivers, a member of the Russian Blockchain and Digital Currency Alliance, has made a formal proposal to Russian Finance Minister Antonino Siluanovo, hoping that the government can include individual miners in the scope of self-employed persons, and the Russian government can also strengthen tax management of related industries.

The company is also lobbying the government to reduce taxes on related industries from 13% to 3-5%. According to statistics, there are now more than 350,000 Russians involved in the industry. At the same time, it hopes that the government will speed up the legalization of digital currencies. According to statistics, digital currency practitioners in Russia are now unable to cash out legally, and their annual losses will reach 2 billion Russian rubles.
