1. Preparation before making an operating system image file

1. Download the win10 operating system image. Download address: http://miner.tools/software/14

2. Download and install Floppy Disk.

3. Insert the USB drive and click "Write Disk Image..." under "Start":

4. Select the USB drive you just inserted in the hard drive and click Format:

5. In the Format window, select NTFS as the file system and click Start.

6. After formatting is complete, click Write and wait for the creation to complete. After completion, unplug the USB drive.

3. System Installation and Environment Construction

After the machine is assembled, insert the USB drive into the machine, turn it on, choose to boot from the USB drive, and follow the prompts to complete the installation step by step. After the system installation is complete, perform system settings.

1. Adjust the visual effects to the best and set the virtual memory to 16G.

Type "system" in the search bar in the lower left corner of the computer and left-click to open it.

Click "Advanced System Settings":

Jump out of the System Properties window and go to Advanced/Performance/Settings:

Select "Adjust for best performance" in "Visual Effects" and then click "Advanced":

Set the virtual memory to 16G, click "Set", then click "OK", and you will be prompted to restart to take effect. You can restart together after setting it later:

Then click "OK" in both the "Performance Effects" and "System Properties" windows.

2. Turn off system updates

(1) Windows 10 Professional and above:

The update function of the Windows 10 system can be controlled through the Group Policy Editor. First, press the Windows logo key + R key to open the Run window command and enter "gpedit.msc" in the window command.

After opening the Group Policy Editor, we first click on the Computer Configuration-Administrative Templates-Windows Components menu options in sequence, as shown in the figure below.

Next, in the Windows Components menu window, click and select the "Windows Update" submenu item, and then find "Configure Automatic Updates" in the configuration options on the right.

Double-click the "Configure Automatic Updates" option on the right. The option is not configured by default in the page that opens. If we want to turn off the automatic update function, we must select "Disabled" in the options on the left, and then click the OK button. This way, we can successfully turn off the automatic update function of the Windows 10 system.

(2) Windows 10 Home Edition and the following operating systems:

Of course, many people install the Windows 10 Home Edition operating system. There is no Group Policy Editor function in the Windows 10 Home Edition operating system, so we need to use the service control function. Here we first need to open the Task Manager and select the "Service" option on the Task Manager page.

After switching to the service page, click the "Open Service" option at the bottom of the page to open the Windows component service management page.

After opening the service management page, we find the "Windows Update" option in the service list, because what we need to configure is the Windows update service.

After opening the Windows Update service configuration options, we first click the "Disable" button option in the interface, so that we can temporarily disable the Windows Update function. After a short wait, the Windows Update service will be turned off.

Next, in the setting of whether the Windows Update service should start automatically, click the drop-down setting list, select the "Disable" option, and then click the OK button at the bottom to turn off the automatic startup function of Windows Update, which means turning off Windows automatic updating.

3. Turn off anti-virus software

Right-click on the taskbar to open the Task Manager:

Find "Windows Defender" in "Startup", select it, and click Disable in the lower right corner.

4. Power and sleep settings.

Find the small power icon in the lower right corner of the computer, left-click it, and enter the power and sleep settings interface:

Change all sleep times to Never.

5. Install the graphics card driver

(1) Download AMD official driver uninstallation software AMD Clean Up Utility: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1gePjg2J

(2) For AMD graphics cards other than RX4xx, it is recommended to install the AMD 15.12 version of the driver (download: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1geCrVJt. For some FIJI core cards, if the driver is not working properly, please uninstall the driver and reinstall the 16.3.2 version (download: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1bC2cF0).

(3) For graphics cards with RX 4xx Polaris core, it is recommended to install the AMD 16.12.2 version of the driver (download: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1c2MNDjq)

Make sure the driver is installed successfully at one time. If it fails the first time, use the AMD Clean Up Utility to uninstall it and reinstall it.

6. Check if all graphics cards are recognized

Find the Device Manager under Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Devices and Printers/ and click it to open the window.

You will see the assembled graphics cards under Display Adapters. Normally, the number of graphics cards installed will be displayed. If the number displayed is less than the number installed, it means that some graphics cards are assembled with problems and need to be checked:

After everything is completed, restart your computer.
