South Carolina regulator lifts ban on two mining companies

According to Bitcoin.com, Shah Hafizi, chief compliance officer of Genesis Mining, said that he was pleased that South Carolina's securities regulator lifted the mining ban on us that had been in place since March 9. Over the past five months, we have been in contact with South Carolina regulators to let them understand the decentralized nature of mining, blockchain networks, and this technology. Blockchain company Ship Chain was also exempted from a similar ban.

The move is so rare that one professional said it was a first for the state, and the agency had not previously rescinded such an order.
