DMG begins installation of 85 MW substation for cryptocurrency mining expansion

According to bitcoinst, blockchain and cryptocurrency company DMG recently said that they began installing new transformers and substations to increase mining operations.

DMG has announced the start of the installation of an 85-megawatt transformer and a substation to help power the expansion of its flagship cryptocurrency mining facility in Canada.

The company’s cryptocurrency mining facilities are used for internal operations and to provide services to clients engaging in Mining as a Service (MaaS). DMG said this hybrid model enables them to scale up mining activities faster than a pure mining model.
