Police departments in ten regions of Japan work together to arrest 16 illegal mining suspects

According to Nikkei News, police departments in 10 regions including Kanagawa Prefecture and Miyagi Prefecture arrested 16 suspects who used the Internet to access user computers and conduct unauthorized virtual currency mining. It is reported that the arrested suspects are company employees and students aged 18-48, and all are male. The Japanese National Police Agency stated that if the other party agrees or authorizes, it does not constitute a violation of the law.
