Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister: Banning the import of mining machines requires legal basis

According to foreign media reports, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh recently publicly stated that the government is considering whether to ban the import of digital currency mining machines, but if such a ban is issued, there needs to be a clear legal basis.

Previously, Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) proposed a temporary ban on the import of crypto mining hardware.
