Bloomberg: 7% of Bitcoin supply is held in cold storage by one company

According to Cointelegraph, Bloomberg quoted anonymous sources on May 9 as saying that Bitcoin storage provider Xapo currently holds about 7% of the world's total Bitcoin in its vaults, "roughly" equivalent to $10 billion. This massive demand for Bitcoin cold storage reportedly has the company’s “deposits” exceeding 98% of the deposits in 5,670 U.S. banks. |
