1. Register the mining machine

Miners need to register the corresponding miner number on the official website of Bitmain or other mining pools to receive rewards.

After creating a sub-account, enter the user page

Enter the miner management to create a miner (the miner name will be used in the background of the mining machine)

Go to "Settings", click the edit button of a sub-account, and bind the wallet address (bytom mainnet wallet address, confirm that it starts with bm)

After binding the address, it is completed

The two most important things: miner name and wallet address

The miner name registered in the mining pool corresponds to the miner name filled in the mining machine. One mining machine corresponds to one miner name.

2. Mining machine structure

Next, let’s take a look at the mining machine. The mining machine purchased from the official website only comes with the mining machine itself (if there is no power supply, the user also needs to purchase a power supply), and prepare the network cable and power cable.

3. Connect to the mining machine

Now let’s take a look at the connection process of the mining machine:

1. Connect the network cable from the router to the mining machine and insert it into the network cable interface of the mining machine.

2. Insert seven six-pin cables into the PCIE interface of the mining machine (the power cable has ten six-pin cables, you can choose any seven).

3. Connect the power supply and start the machine.

After the power is turned on, the mining machine is just warming up and the noise is low. After about 1 minute of warming up, the mining machine starts to operate normally and the noise becomes louder. It is not recommended to place the mining machine in a general residential area, as the noise will affect living. If you want to place it, please purchase sound insulation equipment.

4. Discover the mining machine

After the mining machine is connected to the router, you need to search through the network address. If you are in the same LAN and there is only one machine, you can directly use a desktop computer or laptop to open the browser and enter: antminer in the browser. The following page will appear (you need to log in first, the default account: root, the default password: root)

5. Configure the mining machine

In order for the miner to accept tasks from the mining pool and mine, we need to configure some information.

Enter the "Miner Configuration" interface

URL: the official mining pool address, such as stratum+tcp://stratum.antpool.com:3333;

Worker: the miner name you registered on the official website, such as bytomtest.miner1 I registered in the first step;

Password: registered account password (may also be any value)

Click Save & Apply, and mining should have started.

6. Check the mining machine status

Enter "Miner Status" to view the working status of the mining machine

7. Check the mining machine income

We enter the official website again, log in to the user panel, and we can view the income and computing power.
