Shenma M3 Mining Settings-BTC Mining Tutorial

1. Preparation

Before using the Shenma M3 mining machine for mining, first check whether the mining equipment is intact and complete, and prepare a few small tools.

Mining equipment includes : power supply, power cord, mining machine, and a PC to manage the mining machine.

2. Connecting to the mining machine

Take out the mining machine and power supply, and you can see that there are 10 6-pin wires and 1 3-pin wire on one end of the power supply, as shown in the figure below.

Do not directly connect the Shenma power supply to the power strip. As shown in the figure below, connect the 6-pin cable to the mining machine's hash board and the 3-pin and 6-pin cables to the control board.

Remember, the 3-pin port of the control board must be connected to the right position, otherwise, the miner may be burned out or fail to work after the power is turned on.

Then, connect the network cable. The network port is on the control panel side of the mining machine, as shown on the left side of the above picture.

3. Find the mining machine IP

Connect the PC that manages the mining machine to the same network as the mining machine (connect the PC and the mining machine to the same LAN by connecting them to the same router or switch as the mining machine).

Method 1:

Install and open "IP Scanner" and select the network segment to be scanned based on the network segment to which the local IP belongs.

Click "Scan", as shown in the figure below, all the networked devices and corresponding IPs of the selected network segment in the LAN are displayed.

Connect the power supply of the mining machine to the power strip, and the mining machine starts to run. In the control computer, click "Scan" again to scan all IPs in the LAN. It is found that a new device named "MicroBT" has been added to the network, which is the Shenma mining machine that has just been started, and its IP is "192.168.2.183".

Method 2:

Connect the power supply of the mining machine to the power strip, and the mining machine starts to run. Open the official mining machine batch processing tool of Shenma, as shown in the figure below.

Use the automatic IP detection function, as shown below, open the IP detection interface, click Start, and the client will automatically detect the IP address reported by the mining machine.

On the control panel of the mining machine, press and hold the [IP Found] button for a few seconds. When the indicator light flashes, it means that the IP report is complete.

The interface for receiving the reported IP is as shown below. The IP of the newly connected Shenma mining machine is "192.168.2.183".

4. Configure mining parameters

Open the computer browser and enter the IP address of the mining machine to access the following page.

Enter the username (username and password, both are root by default), click "Login", log in to the miner's settings page, and see the backend management interface as shown below. At this time, the miner runs according to the default settings.

Click “Configuration” and select “Interfaces” to enter the mining parameter setting interface.

The parameter setting interface is shown in the figure below. The information that needs to be filled in includes the region where the mining machine is located, the address of the mining pool, the user name registered by the miner in the mining pool, the miner number and other information.

Among them, the domain name or address information of the BTC mining pool of F2Pool is as follows:

stratum.f2pool.com:3333 (primary address)

stratum.f2pool.com:25 (alternative address)

stratum-us.f2pool.com (alternative address)

Username: You can register on the official website of F2Pool ( https://www.f2pool.com ), and then go to "Account Settings"-->"Mining Account" to find available usernames or set a new username.

Fill in the above mining pool and user name information, and after verifying that they are correct, click "Save&Apply" in the lower right corner of the settings interface.

5. Restart the mining machine and start mining

After the above parameters are set and saved, they do not take effect immediately. You need to restart the mining program of the mining machine.

In the ribbon at the top of the page, find "System" and select "Reboot".

Enter the following interface and click "Perform Reboot".

The mining machine starts to restart according to the newly set mining parameters.

After the miner is restarted, select "CGMiner Status" from the "Status" at the top of the page, as shown in the figure below.

You can open the status page to view the mining status of the mining machine, including computing power, mining time and other information.

After the mining machine runs for 10-15 minutes, the computing power slowly rises to about 11.5T (about 11700Ghash/s). After running for 20-30 minutes, you can log in to the official website of F2Pool and check the computing power curve in the account income, or check the computing power of the mining machine in the miner management page.

Note: Sometimes you cannot see the hashrate curve on the homepage, but you can see the mining machine in the miner management. Please check whether the currency corresponding to the mining machine is BTC. If it is not BTC, please select the mining machine, click "Operation" in the upper left corner, select "Change Currency", select "BTC", and click "OK". Then the hashrate curve will be displayed normally.

6. Batch Processing Settings for Shenma M3 Mining
