Bitmain opens mining machine maintenance center in Irkutsk, Russia

Cryptocurrency mining giant Bitmain has opened a service center in Russia.

Located in Irkutsk, one of the largest cities in Siberia, the center was established so that Russian miners will be able to repair their ASIC rigs locally, saving both time and money.

Before this, they had to send the problematic devices back to China, go through customs procedures and pay expensive shipping costs.

According to Russian media Hi-news.ru, Bitmain has started operations in Irkutsk, at Index 664043, City of Irkutsk, 12 Rakitnaya Street, office 103. If the equipment is too damaged, it may be replaced with a new one (provided it is covered by the warranty).

Before submitting a repair, miners need to contact Bitmain technical support and fill out a form on the website. After that, Bitmain’s customer service representative will ask for details. After the miner answers the relevant questions and approves the repair compensation, the device can be sent to the Bitmain technical support center in Irkutsk.

If the mining machine that needs repair was manufactured after October 2016, Bitmain recommends sending the fully assembled device to the repair center. These devices include S9, T9, T9+ and R4 models.

In addition to the latest mining machine technical support center in Russia, Bitmain also has two maintenance centers around the world, one in California, USA, responsible for providing services to American customers; the other in Hong Kong, responsible for providing maintenance services to global customers.
