Good news for cryptocurrency enthusiasts: a cryptography PhD professor at Stanford University has released his lecture materials for free. (https://crypto.stanford.edu/cs251/)

These lecture materials are currently available online and include the entire course "CS 251: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies".

The material includes a complete course syllabus and overview, which states:

“The course covers all aspects of cryptocurrency, including distributed consensus, blockchain, smart contracts, and applications. We focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum as case studies.”

Dr. Dan Boneh, a Stanford University professor who makes his lecture materials available for free to the public, was born in Israel in 1969 and received his Ph.D. in computer science from Princeton University in 1996.

He and Matt Franklin from the University of California were major contributors to Weil pairing cryptography.

Dr. Dan Boneh joined Stanford University in 1997 as a professor of computer science and electrical engineering.
