Bali netizen claims to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and claims that all previous Satoshi Nakamotos were fake

Golden Finance News - There has been no answer to the question of who is the father of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, so some fanatical Bitcoin enthusiasts claim to be the true identity of this epic creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. However, no one can really prove that he is this legendary figure.

Recently in Bali, an American man has claimed online that he is Satoshi Nakamoto and has been answering questions on Quora as if he is indeed the inventor of Bitcoin. He welcomes visitors to Bali to meet him.

Since April 3, a Quora user has started answering questions on the site under the name Satoshi Nakamoto. He is the 17th online user to actively answer questions under this name. As of the time of this article, he has answered 19 questions from netizens, with a rapid increase of 32,400 views and a total of 161 fans following him.

Satoshi Nakamoto made it clear that he was the creator of Bitcoin, adding:

"I live in Bali, Indonesia, and I was actually born in 1977, not 1975. I'm American."

Specifically, he is staying at a small but luxurious hotel called Biz in Paris, Bali, located southwest of the capital Denpasar. He explained to Bitcoin users,

“I’m staying at Biz in Bali, you guys can use Google to find this place and ask the front desk to call Satoshi. I’ll come down to meet you.”

Defending the existence of Satoshi Nakamoto

In a recent post, he wrote: “I am very real, and everyone who has ever claimed to be me is a fake. I am not on the so-called ‘qualified list’ (of people who qualify to be Satoshi Nakamoto), and it is impossible to guess who I am by looking at the list.”

In the article, the Balinese American provided his email address and said he had a Facebook profile.

Bitcoin users can see a profile page on Facebook with information about the Bali Satoshi, claiming that he is originally from Texas. The page description matches the information he posted on Quora. The page information also contains a photo of the driver's license obtained by Satoshi in Virginia. The owner of the page claims that it was taken in 2001 and the young man in the photo is him.

Bali Satoshi No Cryptographic Proof

Bitcoin.com reached out to Bali Satoshi via email and asked him if he could provide any kind of cryptographic proof by sending some of Satoshi’s earliest Bitcoins; or signing with Satoshi’s PGP private key from 2010. Bali Satoshi told Bitcoin.com:

“Because my old email [email protected] was stolen a few years ago, I can’t open any of the emails in it. Those stolen emails contained the only backup of all my private keys.”

All my Bitcoin private keys were once stored in an encrypted Notepad document. One copy was stored on my laptop and the other was stored in my original GMX email account; however, both files have now been stolen. "The American friend who claims to be the founder of Bitcoin continued, "A series of events in 2010 caused me to lose all my Bitcoin private keys." Bitcoin.com believes that this explanation also hints at why he decided to leave the development of Bitcoin.

“After I lost motivation to continue using Bitcoin, I announced to the world that Satoshi was moving on to other industries,” Bali Satoshi added.

Satoshi Nakamoto is not Craig Wright, but he owns the patent

Bali Satoshi went on to explain that Satoshi Nakamoto is not the Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright, who has also claimed to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto.

“Craig Wright is nothing more than a mathematician and computer scientist who helped correct a typo on the computational team of Bitcoin’s original white paper. He did not author or co-author any part of ‘Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.’”

Craig Wright has been trying to patent many Bitcoin and blockchain-related technologies. Recently, Wright, his patents, and the company he worked for have been acquired.

Bali Nakamoto has repeatedly expressed his support for the use of patent protection to promote Bitcoin's technological innovation in his answers on Quora. Many Bitcoin users who advocate libertarianism over-emphasize the decentralized nature of Bitcoin and rise to the level of anti-government monopoly. This position will be unwelcome.

In one answer, Bali Satoshi detailed how he would make $100,000 in 6 months. His method was to submit applications to various patent offices and then promote them to large companies.
