The world's first cryptocurrency debit card integrates Visa's global network and supports more than 40 alternative coins

Our previous report compared the pros and cons of several Bitcoin debit cards on the market. Each card is different based on the user's location and economic needs. However, the altcoin market with a combined market value of billions of dollars has not yet launched any debit cards due to lack of popularity. However, now everything is different.

Altcoin enthusiasts can now create a virtual VISA card with their favorite cryptocurrency, a service launched by payments company Uquid. Users of the world’s first altcoin debit card can spend over 40 cryptocurrencies on mobile and wifi top-ups, bill payments, pharmacy and food vouchers, transportation, and cardless calls.

Uquid's VISA debit card is also the world's first card that can provide unlimited currency addition and spending, and no identity proof is required to apply for this card. There are many alternative coins available for users to choose from, including Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Monero, Dash, Augur, MaidSafeCoin, Steem, Dogecoin, etc.

The advantages of this card launched by Uquid are that it does not require identity verification or credit checks, it is issued and used immediately, free shipping, unlimited card support, and zero terminal fees. Customers can also use virtual cards in pounds, euros or dollars. This debit card also has an automatic verification system. In addition, any payment processor in the world can reset Uquid's card.

Tran Hung, Founder and CEO of Uquid said:

Uquid's altcoin card is designed to provide a channel for altcoin users to exchange their coins for cash and pay for corresponding services. One of Uquid's business goals is to build a close connection between all cryptocurrency enthusiasts and real-life products and services. Our ultimate goal is to integrate Uquid into real-life stores and allow our customers to make real-time payments in altcoins directly.

Uquid users can now top up their phones in 150 countries around the world. Users can customize their name, phone number, and personal information. More than 600 mobile operators around the world are using Uquid's services. I asked Mr. Tran about the setup of this card. He replied:

First, users need to top up their Uquid account with altcoins. We don’t currently offer wallet support, so the coins they top up are immediately converted to USD, EUR, or GBP. After successfully topping up with altcoins, users can get a virtual debit card directly from their account, or pre-order a plastic card with free delivery in over 170 countries around the world. The virtual card costs just $1, EUR, or GBP.

The card's reach extends beyond the mobile market. Uquid cards can be used to purchase a wide range of essentials and services, including food and drug purchases, instant payments, bill payments, card-free calling (for US users), and other bundled services.

Uquid provides instant, irreversible transactions that make life easier for freelancers, speculators, regular users, and altcoin miners. Uquid works with multiple exchanges around the world, so you always have a way to use your digital and traditional currencies in the most convenient way.

Uquid’s debit card is expected to bring more services to the altcoin market and help the development of the entire digital currency market. The entire market may therefore attract more investment and gradually build this decentralized digital currency community.
