1. ETC Development Brief

ETC Improvement Protocol (ECIP) Progress:

The ETC Gitter (GitHub-based communication platform) chat room was officially established to provide a communication channel for future project development. Discussions on ETC monetary policy are also ongoing. The design of a solution to重放攻击（replay attack） has reached the final stage.

Release of ETC Core client:

ETC-Geth client 2.0.0 has entered the testing phase. The client supports multiple forks, supports eth/61, and removes the "Shanghai with love" patch (a DOS vulnerability fixed by ETH developers when they attended Devcon2 in Shanghai, so the patch is named after Shanghai). The Difficulty Bomb delay issue in ECIP-1010 has been resolved. Difficulty Bomb is a consensus algorithm that can be deployed in advance to increase mining difficulty.

Marketing:

(1) Reddit user keepdoing2 suggested that the community initiate a competition to name the client versions 2.0 and 3.0. The specific details will be announced soon in the ETC subreddit and Slack channel.

3. Fundonomy Alpha test version will be released soon

Dr. Avtar Sehra said that the decentralized crowdfunding DApp Fundonomy will be released on the ETC blockchain soon. The initial release date is scheduled for October 15. Fundonomy is an independent third-party escrow and registration system based on an unchangeable public distributed ledger, providing a platform for project crowdfunding.

7. Attention, Etherwall knockoff exposed

Recently, a fake Etherwall (wallet) website appeared on GitHub. The network has now been exposed and invalidated. It is unclear whether there are other similar fake versions on GitHub. Here are some important information:
