Decentralized social network Synereo will embrace the Chinese market

The world-famous social networking platforms have one thing in common - they provide humanized services that allow people to stay in touch, exchange ideas, and make friends with like-minded people, thus promoting social goals and enriching life.

But in doing so, they put themselves in the first place, and their users become incredibly vulnerable. Content uploaded to these networks instantly becomes the property of the operators of those networks, free to be sold to the highest bidder or disclosed to anyone who wants it. This includes the identities of our friends, our opinions and interests, and of course the things we write, upload, and create on these platforms.

What’s worse, social platforms must regulate and control the information they convey, allowing it to infiltrate everyone’s lives and influence them, distorting the picture of reality and more effectively controlling the way we see the world.

Synereo took this situation into account and developed a solution that provides the Chinese community with access to a constant flow of information.

The Synereo social network is based on an encrypted, decentralized, peer-to-peer network platform that does not require a central server, meaning that information cannot be blocked or stolen. Instead, the Synereo platform is supported by a large number of decentralized nodes and operated by users, much like how Bitcoin works.

This means that no centralized entity can monitor user behavior, delete posts, or censor, including Synereo itself. The model it was built on is completely permissionless, meaning that as long as you have an Internet connection, you can join the social network without being identified or penalized for your actions. Blocking Synereo the way you blocked Facebook and Twitter is impossible as long as the Internet exists.

The distributed architecture also protects the Synereo social network from being disrupted by various technologies that compromise foreign information. Since Synereo social network users are connected in an encrypted and direct way, it is almost impossible to isolate any kind of information and cut them out of your data flow. This ensures that Synereo users can communicate directly with anyone in the world in a safe and confidential manner.

Alpha version coming in September

The alpha version of the Synereo social network will be released in September, giving users around the world their first taste of true unregulated social freedom.

In the alpha version of Synereo, it is possible to:

• Create private connections between users

        Send private, secure messages to your friends without worrying about being monitored

• Publish text with featured image (hosted on decentralized cloud)

Send any photo and text just like you do on Facebook, Twitter and Weibo.

• Tag content ( #tag )

Add tags to the content you send.

• Deploy a decentralized node on your local machine

Treat your computer as a node to maintain the entire network.

• Enhance content with internal AMPs

       Increase your send gains with AMPs (Synereo’s cryptocurrency).

• Complete specific actions on the app or choose to report usage statistics related to the attention economy to receive AMP rewards

Attention Economy

Synereo's alpha version is the first social network based on the attention economy. This means that you can introduce AMPs to increase the exposure of your posts, and whenever other users see your posts, they can receive AMPs.

When applied to any type of post, AMPs can increase the amount of attention a post can receive, without having to specifically promote it to achieve optimal results. In essence, the doodles exaggerate the power of the message and attract the attention of many users. This allows anyone on the network to buy user attention, but it is not as good as enriching centralized entities and buying targeted users directly.

You can certainly choose to tune out the hype and over-the-top content and go for the stuff you’re interested in. But if you don’t, you’ll be rewarded with AMPs, and that’s what has real economic value.

The future will arrive sooner than expected

With the alpha release now available, we invite the community to deepen conversations about user experience, the attention economy that governs it, and plan upcoming features that will be added incrementally in the weeks following the alpha release.

Specifically, we plan to submit various languages ​​including Chinese on the Synereo social network. Long-term applications of the attention economy are also coming soon, as well as seamless integration with external apps. We have received a lot of feedback and requests on external features, and we are more focused on a more competitive social network.
