The Hyperledger blockchain project has added 17 new members, most of which are domestic projects

The Linux Foundation-led Hyperledger blockchain project welcomed 17 new members today, including Samsung’s IT services subsidiary Samsung SDS, Quickbooks developer Intuit and heavy machinery maker Sany Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd.

To date, nearly 100 companies and startups have joined the Hyperledger project.

Brian Behlendorf, executive director of Hyperledger, said in a statement:

“With nearly two new members per week, we can’t predict where the Hyperledger project will be by the end of this year, and I look forward to working with this growing community to further develop our open blockchain.”

The full list of new members includes: Cloud Security Alliance, Energy Blockchain Laboratory, Peersafe Technology Co., Ltd., Inuit Foundation, iRootech Technology Co., Ltd., MIRACL Ltd., Netki, NXT Foundation, GOX Technology, Samsung SDS, Sany Heavy Group Co., Ltd., University of Rome Tor Vergata, Investrata Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship (IFSC), Tai Cloud Corp, Mobile Alliance Payment E-Commerce Co., Ltd., Wutongtree, and Cloud Elephant Blockchain.
