Bitcoin Scaling’s third conference to be held in Italy

After some serious technical debate, the third Scaling Bitcoin conference will be held in 2016. The series of conferences is an opportunity to better unite and focus on Bitcoin development.

After two conferences last year in Montreal and Hong Kong, organizers announced this weekend that the Scaling Bitcoin conference will be held in Milan, Italy, from October 8th to October 9th.

The conference is called “Scaling Bitcoin 2016: Retarget,” a reference to the part of the bitcoin mining process where miners adapt to new difficulties.

The announcements come as conversations between members of the digital currency’s ecosystem appear to be growing increasingly tense. For example, bitcoin developers and miners, the two groups most actively involved in discussions about bitcoin scaling, are now rumored to be presenting solutions at a meeting this month to boost bitcoin’s transaction volume.

In an email, organizer Pindar Wong revealed that additional details such as the conference speakers and topics will be announced in the coming weeks.
