Bitcoin prices soared again in Asian trading on Wednesday, recovering yesterday's losses

The quotes released by Huobi.com showed that Bitcoin/ CNY fell from 4610 to around 4430 yesterday, and rebounded sharply to 4580 in the Asian session of this trading day.

The quotes released by BITSTAMP show that Bitcoin/ US dollar (XBT/USD) fluctuated and fell from above 680 to around 665 yesterday, and rebounded sharply to above 675 in the Asian session of this trading day.

The quotes released by KRAKEN show that Bitcoin/ Euro (XBT/EUR) fell from above 615 to below 605 yesterday, and soared sharply in the Asian session of this trading day, approaching the 620 level.

The European Commission recently launched a new anti-money laundering regulation proposal for Bitcoin and prepaid cards, in an effort to combat the money laundering and tax evasion problems exposed by terrorists in the Paris terrorist attacks and the Panama Papers leak. The proposal stipulates that the recharge threshold for non-rechargeable prepaid cards will be lowered from the original 250 euros to 150 euros. Virtual currencies, led by Bitcoin, will be included in the scope of the anti-money laundering law, and virtual currency platforms will need to verify the identities of virtual currency users and monitor transactions.
