In this industry, if someone says that the annual return on investment in the past year was only 100%, it is really shameful, because it means that his rate of return has underperformed the average development of the entire industry.

This is the "blockchain" industry, and it is also the most popular industry at the moment.

Back to the topic at the beginning, why does the blockchain asset industry have such a high return on investment?

Because, so far, this industry is still a niche investment field. There are too many opportunities to make profits through investment in this industry. As long as you choose appropriate varieties for investment through certain learning and analysis, it is common to achieve an annualized 100% return on investment.

How many opportunities are there?

Two opportunities I personally witnessed:

In June 2015, the price of Bitcoin was around 1,500. Now, the price of Bitcoin is around 3,700. If you bought Bitcoin a year ago and didn’t care about anything else, your annualized rate of return would be 160%+.
In January 2016, the price of Ethereum was about 10 yuan. Now the price of Ethereum is around 80 yuan. If you bought Ethereum six months ago and didn’t care about anything else, your annualized rate of return would be 800%+.
A more niche opportunity

The cost of crowdfunding DGD is about 17.5 yuan, and the current price is 58 yuan;
The cost for early users to participate in crowdfunding DAO is 0.5 yuan, and it is easy to sell for more than 1 yuan after going online;
If you seize any of these opportunities, you can achieve an annualized return of more than 100%. However, you missed most of them, didn’t you?

How to seize opportunities in such a complex industry?

This question is too big. If I really want to write about it in detail, it will take at least tens of thousands of words. I will simply write a few points here. Maybe I will write about it in great detail in a future book.

1. Do you realize that Bitcoin will be a truly global super-sovereign currency?
If you don't admit this in your heart, you can't buy Bitcoin at 1,500 and keep it at 3,000, right? If it is just a hype target, a 100% increase is already awesome. However, for long-term investors like us, the current price of Bitcoin is still super cheap, and a five-digit price is not surprising. With this mentality, it is natural to get high returns;

2. Do you understand that blockchain technology will bring about a completely new network and business logic?
If you understand this, you will naturally be at ease with the price of Ethereum, the leader in blockchain technology, rising several times. If you don’t understand, you will inevitably just make a short-term profit and leave!

3. Do you have sufficient understanding of blockchain-related knowledge?
A full understanding of the above two points is not easy to achieve, and it has a lot to do with knowledge structure and comprehension. In-depth understanding of the industry, extensive reading and understanding, and in-depth thinking about the internal logic between various trading products are the only way to achieve correct cognition.

4. Do you have sufficient judgment in choosing investment products?
If the previous one is about the truth, then this one is about the technique. There are currently thousands of trading products or pyramid schemes claiming to be "digital currency", "virtual currency" or "blockchain assets", and 99% of them are scams or meaningless assets. How to choose truly valuable asset investments, how to choose reliable platforms and the right investment products are huge confusions for novices, and they need to do their homework.
