Stanford University

Stanford University is located in Palo Alto, in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. It is close to the world-famous high-tech park Silicon Valley. It is a world-renowned private research university. Its most fundamental spiritual temperament is the entrepreneurial spirit. "The wind of freedom will always blow" is the motto of Stanford University.

Stanford University focuses on creating a relaxed and free environment that tolerates failure, advocates innovation, and encourages risk-taking and entrepreneurship. It encourages teachers and students to innovate and start businesses. A strong cultural atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship has been formed on campus, which has stimulated the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial desire of teachers and students, and also cultivated many high-tech product leaders and entrepreneurial talents.

Corporate Thought Leaders Speech Series

In 1993, Tom Kosnik, a consulting professor at Stanford University, invited an entrepreneur to the school to discuss his entrepreneurial experience with a small group of Stanford students. This simple but profound experience developed into a formal course at Stanford University, "Management Science and Engineering", 20 years later, and many students studied this course. This experience also gave birth to the "Corporate Thought Leaders Series", and the video is now widely welcomed by thousands of college students, employees and ambitious entrepreneurs around the world.

BTCC CEO Bobby Lee gave a speech about Bitcoin at Stanford University in 2013. At that time, Bitcoin was still controversial, and many people were skeptical about this digital currency that was not yet understood.

Three years later, the Bitcoin industry has developed rapidly and has received widespread attention and support. BTCC CEO Li Qiyuan will once again stand on the podium of Stanford University on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 (U.S. time) to share his entrepreneurial experience in China with Stanford students, employees, and industry leaders, as well as talk about the importance of Bitcoin to the future world.
