Indian bitcoin exchange Coinsecure has announced that it has raised $1.2 million in a Series A funding round, which it expects to close soon. Bitcoin and India seem to be a match made in heaven. As an emerging market combined with a disruptive financial ecosystem, Bitcoin has great potential. Various Bitcoin exchanges have sprung up across India, including Coinsecure. However, the cost of running a trading platform is not cheap, and financing is very necessary. The Indian bitcoin exchange has been trying to raise a Series A round since January 2016. Things didn’t seem to be going well until the company recently announced that they had raised $1.2 million. Mohit Kalra, CEO and founder of Coinsecure, said:
About CoinsecureCoinsecure is a leading Bitcoin exchange in India. It is the only ISO-certified Bitcoin business in India and provides Bitcoin wallets, exchanges, and business services. In addition, Coinsecure has a strong developer platform and offers a range of APIs. The company is headquartered in Delhi, with research and development in Bangalore.
