In the industry , according to people familiar with the matter, Airbnb has "acquired" key team members of ChangeCoin, a startup that operates a Bitcoin micropayment service.

Airbnb co-founder and CTO Nathan Blecharczyk said that through this, Airbnb can use blockchain to share user information with other companies.
