SiamoSoci: Blockchain Club tells you how to invest in blockchain startups

2015 was the year of financial technology, with financial technology investment growing by 300% in the year. And the latest research shows that this investment figure will double again in 2016.

From e-commerce to mobile payments to banking services, blockchain is at the center of all innovative technologies and the development of new platforms as distributed ledgers are the pioneers in the disintermediation of asset value transfer.

Blockchain Club

Just a few days ago, SiamoSoci launched a new project called Blockchain Club, which is dedicated to bringing together all investors who want to participate in the development of financial technology startups based on blockchain technology.

Dario Giudici , CEO of SiamoSoci, explained:

"Back in 1998, all investors would have wanted to invest in Google, PayPal or Amazon. Now we have a second chance: a technology that could impact our lives like the Internet did, and an opportunity to invest early in companies that could be game-changing. That's why we started this club."

Dario Giudici

The Blockchain Club is working hard with BlockchainLab, an Italian research laboratory founded by Instesa SanPaolo and Azimut. Their team of experts is collecting all promising startups in the development of blockchain services. BlockchainLab will support the Blockchain Club in selecting the best blockchain projects in Italy and the world, which will become the club's investment portfolio in the future.

Giacomo Zucco, CEO of BlockchainLab, said:

“BlockchainLab aims to bring together Italian and international talent to screen all blockchain projects in order to understand future trends.”

SiamoSoci’s previous project was a Bitcoin investment project called Cryptoclub, and now they have set their sights on blockchain.

How Blockchain Club works

The Blockchain Club aims to raise €5 million in funding from private investors.

The project is a 10-year project that will invest in about 30 startups at different stages of development, ranging from those that are already very active in the blockchain market to those with great development opportunities. The selected startups will come from a variety of industries and have their own innovative blockchain products, such as wallets, notary services, exchanges or smart contracts. SiamoSoci is in talks with some startups, including Eternity, HolyTransction, The Rock Trading and Helperbit.

Since 2011, SiamoSoci has been a leader in Italian startups, creating solutions that connect individual investors with innovative startups. The company was founded by nine experts in the financial innovation industry. Currently, Azimut, a leading independent asset management company in Italy, holds a significant stake in SiamoSoci.
