91.8% of Bitcoin holders worldwide are men

Bitcoin news website Coindesk recently released its latest survey report - "Who is really using Bitcoin?" The report counted the information feedback from 4,000 Bitcoin investors from different countries around the world, reflecting the real situation of the global Bitcoin user base. According to the survey, men, white people, and technicians are still the core population of the Bitcoin community. Among the 4,000 respondents, 91.8% of the holders are male, 72.5% are white, and the proportion of technicians is 65.8%. In addition, less than 3% of the respondents refused to disclose their gender. In addition, almost half of Bitcoin holders are from the United States.

Although Bitcoin is generally considered a game for the rich, in this survey, the annual income level of Bitcoin holders ranges from $25,000 to $200,000. In terms of education level, most of them have a bachelor's degree or above.

Most of these holders obtain Bitcoin through Bitcoin trading platforms, direct transactions, etc.

Another half of the respondents said they had used Bitcoin for online shopping.
