Bitmain appears at China-Arab Expo to explore cooperation in the Middle East market

The China-Arab Expo was successfully held at the Yinchuan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Ningxia from September 10 to 13, 2015. Bitmain, a domestic Bitcoin company, was invited as an exhibitor to exhibit its self-developed BM1385 high-speed computing chip and Antminer series.

The China-Arab Expo will be themed "Promoting the Silk Road Spirit and Deepening China-Arab Cooperation". In addition to focusing on key areas of cooperation between China and Arab countries such as agriculture, health, tourism, and technology transfer, it will also set up an online Silk Road and云计算技术and application exhibition, and a high-tech and equipment exhibition. The China-Arab Expo Online Silk Road Forum was also held on September 10-11, with the theme of "Online Silk Road, Connectivity". The forum was divided into a new generation cloud computing sub-forum. Bitmain representatives also attended this cloud computing sub-forum to showcase the cutting-edge achievements in the development of cloud computing, cloud services and other industries.

Under the Internet+ trend, Bitmain is actively negotiating with Middle Eastern countries to expand its market in the region. It is reported that Bitmain was invited by the Ningxia government to participate in the exhibition and reached a cooperation project with the government to jointly build中卫数据中心, which is currently occupied by Qihoo 360 and Amazon.

In addition, Bitmain's new product Antminer S7 was also unveiled at the exhibition. The Antminer S7 has a computing power of 4.86T and a power consumption of 1201W. Antminer S7 is one of the mining machines with the best computing power to power consumption ratio so far, with a power consumption of about 250W per T of computing power. Pre-sales in overseas markets have reached more than 5,000 units, and it is expected to be shipped from September 20.
