Bitcoin organization begins providing services to refugees

Bitcoin prices continued to rebound in the Asian session on Friday (September 11), and the US dollar denominated price once again approached the overnight high.

The quotes released by BITSTAMP show that Bitcoin/US dollar (XBT/USD) rose from below 236 to above 241 yesterday. Although it has fallen back since then, it has risen again on this trading day and is approaching the high point.

The quotes published by KRAKEN show that XBT / EUR (1.1291 , 0.0013, 0.12 %) rose sharply from below 212 to 216 yesterday, and then retreated sharply, but rebounded to around 214 in the Asian session of this trading day.

In the industry, there are reports that the Bitcoin organization Bitnation has begun to provide services to refugees, including insurance, basic income, and other blockchain-based applications. In addition, Bitnation has developed an ID card based on blockchain technology.

Bitcoin, due to its borderless nature, can send small donations to anywhere in the world without the need for financial facilities. Therefore, it is suitable for use in areas with underdeveloped financial facilities such as the Middle East and North Africa.

For example, refugees can convert their finances into Bitcoin, or they can convert Bitcoin into other currencies to circumvent financial sanctions imposed by other countries.
