How Bitcoin Will Change Mobile Advertising

Nowadays, website visitors want the website to arrange its content in an organized manner, and do not want too many pop-up ads to ruin the wonderful experience of browsing the web.

More precisely, removing pop-up ads is great for visitors because ads can slow down loading times, especially when visitors are accessing your site on a mobile device.

Relying on existing advertising delivery methods to provide advertising has become increasingly ineffective, and the usage rate of ad blockers is now increasing.

Are consumers forced to bribe website content providers?

For most website owners, the traditional way of advertising makes a lot of sense. Clients buy ad space on a website to advertise their services or products, and website visitors click on pop-ups to view the ads as they browse; this advertising method may be about to be revolutionized.

However, getting visitors to click on pop-up ads is increasingly difficult because most ad blockers prevent them from appearing.

Users who prefer to browse websites on their smartphones or tablets are most likely to install ad blockers on their mobile devices. Unlike regular computer monitors, mobile device screens are much smaller, and mobile device users are reluctant to have ads take up their precious screen.

The use of ad blockers on mobile devices is expected to continue to grow in the coming years, which will make the already struggling advertisers even worse.

Computer users have long learned to use browser ad blocking plug-ins such as Adblock and uBlock, both of which are free and can block more than 95% of website ads.

On the other hand, for mobile device users, Adblock Plus and TrustGo allow users to choose the number of ads they will see on their mobile devices.

Sooner or later, web content providers and website owners will have to change their business models, because traditional advertising methods will soon no longer provide them with a reliable source of income.

Setting a paywall for certain content is one possible solution, while digital subscription services are another avenue worth exploring.

Tip content providers with Bitcoin

Processing and receiving small payments is still a thorny issue for content providers. Traditional payment methods, such as PayPal, bank transfers and credit cards, require high transaction fees.

As a result, the recipient will receive far less than the stated amount. This is where Bitcoin comes in handy, as payments made with the virtual currency are quick and easy to process.

On the other hand, Bitcoin is not universal. Although the use of Bitcoin has been showing a slow but steady growth in recent years, it is not feasible to rely solely on users' "rewards". In other words, the business model solution of content providers based on Bitcoin can overturn the entire traditional advertising model.
