Bitmain's overseas official website pre-sells Antminer S7

According to the news on August 30 from Bitmain's overseas official website, the Antminer S7 is now available for sale at a price of $ 1,823 , equivalent to about 11,650 yuan, and the delivery time is September 21-September 30. The official also announced the parameters of the Antminer S7. The chip uses the 28-nanometer fully customized chip BM1385 independently developed by Bitmain, with a computing power of 4.86T and a power consumption of 1201 watts. The Antminer S7 is the mining machine with the best computing power to power ratio so far, with a computing power of about 250W per terabyte.

The domestic official website is not open for pre-sale yet. Users who want to try it out can place an order on the overseas official website. If the delivery address is in mainland China, a 17% tax will be required and the purchase price is RMB 13,630.

Antminer S7 Notes :

1.Power consumption data varies with power supply efficiency, ambient operating temperature, and power meter accuracy.
2. Power supply: The power supply is not included, you need to prepare your own ATX power supply. Each hash board + 12V DC input requires 3 PCIE interfaces. Do not mix PCIE with different power supplies on the same hash board. Bitmain recommends using APW3-12-1600-B2 power supply. One power supply supports one S7.
3. The control board needs to be powered separately: If multiple power supplies are used, please power on the hash board first and then the control board.

Antminer S7 adopts front and rear dual fan design, each hashboard has 3 PCIE interfaces, and the power consumption of a single hashboard is about 400 watts. If a server power supply is used or the power conversion rate is poor, the power consumption of the whole machine is about 1300 watts. Be sure to pay attention when selecting a power supply. As can be seen from the figure, the hashboard also needs a separate PCIE power supply.
